In the movie Great expectations Gwyneth plays the role of Estella, a rich little girl who is raised to manipulate and hurt men. Her childhood friend Finn (Ethan Hawk) has developed a long term crush on Estella and he is finally reunited with her. Finn finds him self infatuated with Estella's soul and the memory of the past turns in to a stronger love for the future. This once again inspires Finn's artistic nature.

Gwyneth Paltrow's seductive, sexy game playing nature in this movie drives Finn insane. She constantly leads him on and throws him out with the feeling that she might have a secret love for him, this drives him mad. Finn, who is an artist, stops his art career for 7 years not able to find any inspiration with Estella not being in his life.

Paltrow plays this part so well. You are able to feel Finn's lust and love that he is missing. Through out the movie you keep hoping and wishing she will let him in her heart. You will never see Paltrow look as good as she did in the movie Great Expectations and most likely will not see a more sexy performance from her again.
